About KSUM Scale-up Grant

The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) Scale-up Grant is a premier financial assistance scheme formulated by the Government of Kerala to propel growth-stage tech startups toward rapid revenue acceleration and domestic and global market leadership.

Administered through KSUM's state-of-the-art innovation hubs at Integrated Startup Complex (Kochi) and Technopark (Trivandrum), the scheme provides up to ₹25 Lakhs in non-dilutive grant capital to startups that have proven product-market fit and generated initial recurring revenue.

The funds are geared specifically toward scaling enterprise sales, expanding digital marketing channels, setting up quality certifications, and expanding technical engineering capabilities.

Grant recipients gain access to KSUM's global launchpad initiatives, institutional international delegations (GITEX, Slush, Web Summit), and direct corporate procurement pilots under the Kerala Public Procurement Policy.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

Eligibility Rule 1

DPIIT-recognized Startups with active Unique ID on the Kerala Startup Mission portal.

Eligibility Rule 2

Entity must be registered in Kerala or have at least 50% of its core development workforce based in Kerala.

Eligibility Rule 3

Startup must have launched a commercial product with demonstrated market traction (revenue or verifiable customer pilots).

Eligibility Rule 4

Must be incorporated as a Private Limited Company or LLP under 7 years of existence.

Eligibility Rule 5

Founders must have a clean compliance record with ROC and no outstanding government defaults.

Eligibility Rule 6

DeepTech, AI/ML, MedTech, Robotics, and CleanTech ventures receive high priority.
