About Scheme

The PMEGP Second Loan Scheme is a financial assistance program introduced by the Government of India to support existing PMEGP and eligible MUDRA beneficiaries who have successfully established their businesses and now wish to expand their operations.

Unlike the first PMEGP loan, which helps entrepreneurs start a new enterprise, the second loan is specifically designed for business expansion, modernization, technology upgradation, capacity enhancement, and increased production. Eligible entrepreneurs can receive financial assistance with a government subsidy, making it easier to grow their business while reducing the overall cost of borrowing.
